Reservation & Cancelation Policy

A reservation is a solid booking after paying the deposit. A confirmation will be provided by e-mail within 48 hours of receipt of reservation deposit payment. Confirmations will be e-mailed. Reservations are accepted only with deposit payment on a first come, first serve basis.

Accommodation, campsites, food & activities :

Deposit payments are non refundable the last six months for accommodations, for activities the last six weeks and for food the last week before the actual date of the booking. The amount of the deposit will be 25% of the estimated costs but at least $200. The deposit includes $100 for each night reserved for each cabin or room. At the time of the booking reservations are accepted with payment of a deposit by cash payment, cheque, MasterCard or Visa. Cancelation fee is $100.

Full payment for all booked items reserved, less reservation deposit, is due upon check-in. Bookings can only be done by 1 organizer of the group. The organizer of the group is responsible for all the group activities and payments.

Our fully-serviced cabins and Powder Creek rooms are completely set up for light housekeeping but no meal preparation or consumption. We do not provide daily maid service. It is the renter’s responsibility to, tidy up and remove garbage daily. Fresh towels ($2/each) and linens ($2 each) are available on request.

Check-in/out time.

Check-in time is between 4:00 p.m. and 20:00 p.m. We request that guests provide an estimated time of arrival and estimate they take part of supper or not as this information helps us to plan our day.

Check-out time by 10:00 a.m. on the last day of your stay. We may be flexible with check-out time depending upon the arrival time of our next guests.

Privacy Policy

Blue Lake Centre Management and staff respect and are committed to taking every reasonable effort to protect the privacy, confidentiality and security of personal information entrusted to us. Only authorized persons, who have a need to know, have access to personal information. Our policy, defines personal information as: "any information, which relates to an individual and allows that individual to be identified".

Security is an important concern to us and we exercise care in providing security of individual information. We do not collect, use or disclose personal information about an individual without the consent of the individual except where such information is required by law. We maintain the security and confidentiality of personal information furnished to us according to reasonable standards.

Non-Smoking Policy

All our buildings are strictly non-smoking inside. An ashtray is provided for smokers outside in front of the Wild Hay Hall. Any smoking of tobacco products inside of our buildings will result in $300 extra charges for each building for professional cleaning services of carpets, upholstery and window coverings.

Infant Policy

We do not charge a fee for infants up to the age of two (2) years staying in our accommodations and for meals. Guests with infants are required to provide their own bassinette or travel bed and blankets. These infants are not allowed to sleep on the beds at Blue Lake Centre. For toddlers (two years of age and older) we provide a rubber sheet for their beds. Toddlers are not to sleep on the queen-sized or double bed. Children between 2 and 12 staying in parent's room will be charged 75% of the rates of accommodation and food.

Outdoor Fires & Firewood Policy

Firewood for outdoor and indoor (stove) fires are available at $10 a bundle at the Main Lodge. Small outdoor fires are permitted inside of the established fire pits, provided that there is no provincial fire ban in effect on outside fires. Fires must be kept small and not be left burning unattended at any time. Cutting or gathering of messy un split firewood on-site is not permitted. Guests may bring their own clean, pre-split firewood.

Damages / Guest responsibilities

The convener/organizer of a group is responsible for all guests attending their function, including supervision of children and/or minors that may attend the scheduled function. The convener/organizer holds responsibility for the costs of repair and/or replacement of Blue Lake Centre property necessitated by the actions of his/her guests. Our Technical Department will determine the cost estimate. Blue Lake Centre will not be responsible for the loss of any articles before, during or after the event.

Pet Policy

We like pets but pets are not allowed in the buildings at Blue Lake Centre. Outside pets just on a leash.
