Are pets allowed at the Blue Lake Centre

We like pets but they disturb and atrack wildlife so they are not allowed in the William A. Swizter park

What wildlife can we expect?

Sometimes there will be big predators around as (black)bear but also grizzly, wolfs, coyoty'. There is a female moose around the Centre all year round. In summer most times with a calf. Many times we see deer and elk.

On the lakes the common Loone is there every year and some other kinds of ducks

We see Beavers around the beaverlodge at Blue Lake

Are they dangerous?

Don't suprise the big predators, or moose and elk bull's. Also big animals with cubs / offspring can be dangerous when you suprise them.
